AYA024 How to Build an Artist Community with Beth Inglish

In today’s episode, I chat with the Nashville-based artist Beth Inglish. From an early age she knew she wanted to be a scuba diver. After graduating with her BA in marketing from UT-Austin she packed her bags and moved from Austin, TX to the US Virgin Islands to be a scuba instructor. After a few years the thrill wore off and she packed her bags again and moved to Nashville to pursue her true passion, art. Not knowing anyone in Nashville she worked extra hard to put herself and her art out into the community. In the process, she created the Nashville Creative group which now has over 4800 members who are working together to get their art out into the world. We speak at length about her approach to change and fear and how she transitions from one career to the next.
