AYA025 Launching a sports talk radio show with Mark Rosenman

From an early age, Mark Rosenman knew that he wanted to work in sports broadcasting. He studied communication arts in college but after graduation, he knew that the path he wanted to go on wouldn’t allow him to support his family. After working in the business world until after his kids went to college he jumped back into his communication arts roots and launched his own radio program. He has been on the air for over 10 years now covering New York sports teams and writing books.

Mark Rosenman is no stranger to sports talk as he was a long-time host on WGLI’S The Mighty 1290 Monday Night Sports. He has had extensive experience as a travel coach in both baseball and hockey for over 11 years. This past year two of his former hockey players were drafted in the 3rd and 7th rounds, and one former baseball player was drafted in the 1st round . He has many contacts within the New York sports press and the major local area teams. Sportstalkny airs worldwide every Sunday night as was hailed as ” a thoughtful and interesting show” by NY Post Sports Media expert Phil Mushnick. He also runs The Players Point website which brings former professional athletes together to blog about their sport. He is also a staff writer for Inside Hockey
