MEET SARA LONG:
Sara Long teaches United States history at multiple universities. She graduated with her MA in history from CSUF, in 2017, and her BA in history and minor in anthropology in 2015. From 2013 to 2015, she helped with collections management and conservation projects at Rancho Los Alamitos Historic Ranch and Gardens. In addition to teaching, Long remains active in the public history sector by participating in and managing several projects. She is currently drafting the master plan of development for the Museum of Cosmetic History. Long aspires to establish cosmetic history as a legitimate and respected scholarship focus for future historians by providing them with properly preserved pieces of cosmetic heritage.
