AYA 005 Chelsea Diehl – Actress and the founder of My College Audition.

Chelsea Diehl is a Boston based college audition coach and the founder of My College Audition​ (www.mycollegeaudition.com)​. My College Audition​ ​(“MCA”) is a resource for high school students looking to obtain a degree in Musical Theatre or Acting at the collegiate level. MCA provides one-on-one coaching on everything students need to succeed in the college audition process, including monologue selection and preparation, song selection and preparation, and dance preparation. MCA’s students continue to gain acceptances to the top programs throughout the country and MCA proudly maintains a 100% acceptance rate for full-time students.

Chelsea is a graduate of Emerson College where she received a BA in Acting and Theatre Education. Upon graduating, Chelsea also taught at Emerson’s Summer Academy for three years.

Chelsea’s book, Before the College Audition, is a best-selling college audition prep book and has been dubbed by fans as “100% essential” in navigating the college audition process. Before the College Audition helps students formulate a college list with an appropriate mix of Reaches, Matches and Safety schools for a performing arts applicant. Chelsea’s writing and book lectures have been featured at Destination Broadway, The Drama Book Shop, Acceptd, Open Jar Institute and many more locations.

    A prosperous career in acting requires equal parts talent and practice with a little of luck thrown in. Famous actors at the job can be seen and heard everywhere: TELEVISION, the big screen, the theater, on the Net, in videos and on podcasts. They portray heroes from days gone by that contain affected history, and in addition they portray heroes that is intended to impact pop culture in the future. Some dabble in many different entertainment mediums, while some check out the stage, use their voice to create new worlds or devote their lives to the silver screen.
